What is the Dental Implant Process?
The dental implant process requires multiple visits over several months for a long lasting and successful treatment.
First, you will first need impressions and x-rays to determine if there is enough space for the implant. During oral surgery, the titanium implant will be placed into the jawbone. After the post is surgically implanted, it will take about six months to heal and fuse to the jawbone. Finally, the artificial tooth can be placed on top of the implant.
